About the Reef Stonefish
Considered the most venomous fish in the world. Thirteen dorsal spines can inject venom that causes excruciating pain. It looks exactly like a rock or lump of coral, waiting motionless for prey to swim close. It can survive out of water for hours at low tide. An antivenom is available.
