About the Napoleon Wrasse
One of the largest reef fish. Can live 30+ years. Known to recognize individual divers. Females can change into males (protogynous hermaphroditism). Their lips are considered a delicacy — a single fish can sell for thousands. Play a critical role in reef health by eating crown-of-thorns starfish.
