About the Great Hammerhead

Their hammer-shaped head (cephalofoil) provides 360-degree vision and houses electroreceptors for detecting buried prey. Can detect a stingray buried in sand from above. Tend to roll sideways when attacking, using the hammer to pin prey. Give live birth to 20-50 pups.
