About the Wolf Eel
Not actually an eel — they are a species of wolffish. Mate for life and share a den. Powerful jaws crush sea urchins and shellfish. Surprisingly gentle and curious with divers. Their thick skin provides protection from the spines of their prey. Young are bright orange.
