About the Northern Pike
Ambush predators with lightning-fast strikes. Can eat prey up to half their body length. Sometimes cannibalistic. Their Y-bone makes them tricky to fillet but excellent eating. In medieval Europe they were reserved for nobility. Can live 25+ years.
