About the Goliath Grouper
Can reach 2.5 meters and 360 kg. Produce a booming sound like a bass drum using their swim bladder. Fearless — will confront divers. Nearly fished to extinction, now recovering under strict protection. Gather in large groups to spawn. Can live 40+ years.
