About the Epaulette Shark
Can walk on land using muscular pectoral and pelvic fins. Survive 3 hours with zero oxygen by shutting down non-essential brain functions. Tolerate a 30C temperature range. Often stranded in tide pools. One of the most studied sharks for understanding hypoxia tolerance.
