About the Albacore
A tuna with exceptionally long pectoral fins that reach past the start of its anal fin. Its pale flesh is sold as white meat tuna. Makes long migrations across oceans, following warm currents. Like other tunas it keeps its muscles warmer than the water using a heat-exchanging blood system.
